When I came in yesterday at 1.30pm I had been on a long journey. It was 3 hours early for check-in and pouring rain. I walked to the shop were Daniel was working. He told me it would be ready for me. It was a relieving welcome. The coziness of the place, along with my mood and the circumstances, I immediately felt comforted and at home. The place is beautifully designed and every little touch is thought of and perfect... I came by myself (missing my husband and 14 month old daughter) and got everything I came for. With the beach 50 steps away, all the amenities of the place and the privacy to appreciate it, I couldn't have experience a better vacation. I will definitely be back to share in this little piece of paradise again. Thank you for everything.

We arrived without the light of day. Stumbled, tired from the long drive, down the pebble path, up the short steps and into your cozy cabin. More comfortable than home. We put our feet up and relaxed. The "Shack" was a shining diamond in our rough travel along the coast. When one feels at home they never want to leave.

Amazing, a little Tofino Grotto right off the beach, Low tide and took epic pictures. Took in some surfing with Surf Sisters. Blue skies, warm weather, gorgeous blood red sunsets, a small winter storm! Silver (resident cat) came for a visit one rainy night.
The hot tub and comfy bed greatly appreciated. The fireplace too.

The Cedarshack feels like our home away from home and we look forward to coming back.

We are patting ourselves on the back for finding such a marvellous retreat! Everything about the Cedarshack cabin, location etc. was absolutely perfect. WE love Tofino and its wondrous natural attractions. We are almost hesitant to share our discovery of the Cedarshack in case it is not available for our next vacation.
WE have stayed in many nice places in Tofino, but the Cedarshack was by far the best.

Beautiful frosty sunrise from Frank Island, haunting twilight forest missions, sunny morns, surfing on Chesterman, romantic strolls, all topped off with this cozy little abode tucked away behind Chesterman Beach. What a fantastic stay we had. Can hardly wait till next time.

Hi Barb, just wanted to send a little note to thank you for the use of Cedarshack on Oct.27 -29 /07.   The cabin was absolutely beautiful!  It was obvious you put a lot of care and consideration in setting it up.  We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and had the perfect romantic weekend.  I have given several people your website information, so hopefully they can book a weekend with you too.  Anyways, just wanted to say thank you for providing the perfect setting for a truly relaxing weekend.
