Tofino Beach Suite Policies

- Rates are in Canadian funds and are subject to 8% Hotel Tax, 5% GST and 3% Municipal Tax
- $125 cleaning fee per booking (+GST)
- A 5% non-refundable booking fee is applicable.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard and cash.
Pet Policy
One groomed dog is welcome with our permission. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation or terminate your stay immediately without a refund, if you bring a pet without permission. Pets must be on leash at all times and under supervision while on the vacation property. Owners must pick up after they're pets immediately. This includes on the rented property, the beach trail and on the beach. Chesterman Beach is considered a public area and Tofino By-Law prohibits unleashed dogs on all local beaches. We ask for your cooperation in not leaving your pet unattended in your accommodation. Pets that bark excessively are aggressive or act in a disturbing manner will not be tolerated. All pets must be completely free of fleas and ticks, be clean, well groomed and up to date on shots and vaccinations. Before entering the accommodation your pet must be dried off with your own towel. The use of guest towels and or linen to dry off your pet is strictly prohibited. Pets are not allowed to sit on furniture or bedding. An excessive cleaning charge of $100.00 will be charged to your account if disregarded. Please remember, our beaches are natural habitats for many migratory birds, please ensure your pet is under control at all times.
Reservations
At the time of booking a 50% deposit is required and a non refundable 5% booking fee will be charged to your credit card. Balance payments will be processed 30 days prior to arrival unless arranged otherwise by you. Reservations made less than 30 days prior to the arrival date, the full rental amount is required. Payments made by cheque must be received and paid in full 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellations
- We have a 30 day cancellation policy. If you cancel with 30 day notice or more your deposit, less $50.00 cancellation fee, will refunded.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days the entire cost of the accommodation is forfeited.
- A $300.00 damage deposit is required; this is secured and preauthorized with your credit card at day of check-in
- If there is no damage or cause for concern beyond normal wear and tear no amount is processed unless required.
Events Beyond Our Control
Pacific Coast Retreats Beach Suite is not liable for events beyond our control, which may interfere with the occupancy of the rental property, including but not limited to loss of the property by fire, flood, earthquake, tsunami, or other damage, changes of ownership, termination of management services, changes in the law, or seizure or other loss of the property. Beyond a refund of all payments made, Pacific Coast Retreats assumes no responsibility or liability arising out of the property not being available or suitable. We assume no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss or damage arising out of the use or occupation of the property.
Acceptance of Rental Terms
By booking the accommodation provided by PCR you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and accept our rental policies and that you agree to pay the accommodation costs and any associated fees, and you agree to the limitation of PCR liability.
